Frequently asked questions

What to Bring?

- Modest Clothing (Sulus/Sarongs): When entering the traditional village, shoulders and knees must be covered out of cultural respect. A sulu (sarong) is perfect to wrap around your waist.

- Swimwear: Wear your swimsuit underneath your clothes so you are ready for the mud pools.

- Change of Clothes & Towel: A dry towel and a fresh set of clothes to change into after your hot spring soak.

- Dark or Older Swimwear: The natural volcanic mud can sometimes stain light-colored fabrics, so we highly recommend wearing a dark or older swimsuit.

- Flip-Flops / Sandals: Easy-to-remove footwear is ideal for village entry and moving around the mud pools.

- Camera / Phone: To capture the unforgettable, muddy memories!

- Remove Hats and Sunglasses: Out of respect for the village chief and elders, please remove hats, caps, and sunglasses from your head when entering the village grounds.
